Nanny Placement Services Fees, Placement Process & 120-Day Placement Guarantee
Finding the right nanny is an important decision. Our placement process is designed to make your search easier while providing personalized support from application through placement.
How It Works
- Apply
Complete our family application and tell us about your childcare needs, schedule, household, preferred qualifications, and what you’re looking for in a nanny. A $75 non-refundable application fee is required to begin your search.
- We Begin Your Search
Once your application is received, we review your family’s needs and begin identifying candidates who may be a good match. We assist with candidate sourcing, preliminary screening, matching, and coordination throughout the process.
- Meet Your Candidates
We’ll introduce you to potential nanny candidates based on the needs and preferences discussed during your consultation. Your family will have the opportunity to interview candidates and determine who feels like the right fit for your household.
- Select Your Nanny
Once you’ve selected a nanny and the placement is confirmed, the $400 placement fee becomes due. The placement fee must be paid before the nanny’s scheduled start date.
- You’re Protected for 120 Days
Your placement includes our 120-Day Placement Guarantee. If the placement ends during the first 120 days and your family meets the terms of our guarantee, we will conduct one complimentary replacement search without charging another placement fee.
Fees & 120-Day Guarantee
A $75 non-refundable application fee is required to begin the placement process. This fee covers the initial work involved in beginning your family’s search, including reviewing childcare needs and preferences, consultation, candidate sourcing and matching, preliminary screening, interview coordination, and administrative support.
Payment of the application fee begins our search process but does not guarantee that a placement will be made.
$400 Successful Placement FeeYou don’t pay the $400 placement fee until your family selects a nanny and confirms the placement. The placement fee must be paid before the nanny’s scheduled start date.
Total investment for a successful placement: $475
Our 120-Day Placement GuaranteeEvery successful placement includes a 120-Day Placement Guarantee. If your nanny placement ends within the first 120 days, an eligible family may receive one complimentary replacement search with no additional placement fee.
The guarantee is intended to protect the original placement. If the family substantially changes the position – including compensation, schedule, location, responsibilities, or other material employment terms – the replacement guarantee may no longer apply.
The guarantee provides a replacement search rather than a refund of application or placement fees.
Family Placement Terms & Conditions
By submitting a family application and paying the applicable application fee, the family acknowledges and agrees to the following placement terms.
Application FeeA $75 non-refundable application fee is required before the agency begins providing placement services. The fee compensates the agency for services associated with beginning the search, which may include consultation, review of the family’s requirements, candidate sourcing, screening, matching, communication, interview coordination, and administrative services. Payment does not guarantee that the agency will identify a suitable candidate or successfully complete a placement.
Placement FeeA $400 placement fee becomes due when the family selects a candidate and confirms its intention to hire or engage that candidate. The placement fee must be paid in full before the nanny’s scheduled start date.
120-Day Placement GuaranteeA completed placement includes a 120-day placement guarantee beginning on the nanny’s first scheduled day of work. If the original placement ends during the guarantee period, an eligible family may request one complimentary replacement search without paying an additional placement fee. The guarantee does not guarantee continued employment for 120 days or guarantee that a replacement candidate will be available within a particular timeframe.
Eligibility for a Complimentary Replacement- All agency fees have been paid in full and on time.
- The family notifies the agency promptly after the placement ends.
- The family continues seeking substantially the same type of position originally submitted to the agency.
- The family provided accurate information concerning the position, schedule, responsibilities, compensation, and household expectations.
The family complies with applicable employment and childcare laws and any agreements entered into with the nanny.
Changes to the PositionThe complimentary replacement guarantee may not apply if the family materially changes the position after placement. Material changes may include significant changes to compensation, working hours, scheduled days, job duties, work location, childcare requirements, or other important terms of the position.
The agency will determine whether the requested replacement represents substantially the same position or constitutes a new search.
Application fees compensate the agency for services performed in beginning and conducting the search and are non-refundable once those services have begun. Placement fees compensate the agency for successfully facilitating a placement and are generally non-refundable once the placement has been completed. When an eligible placement ends within the 120-day guarantee period, the family’s remedy under the guarantee is one complimentary replacement search rather than a cash refund.
Candidate IntroductionsCandidates introduced to a family through the agency are considered agency referrals. If a family hires, employs, or otherwise engages an agency-referred candidate outside of the agency’s placement process, the applicable placement fee remains due.
Family ResponsibilityThe family is ultimately responsible for interviewing candidates, making the final hiring decision, establishing employment terms, and determining whether a nanny is appropriate for the family’s household and childcare needs. The family is also responsible for complying with applicable payroll, tax, wage, employment, and household-employer requirements.
Acceptance of TermsBy submitting an application and paying the application fee, the family confirms that it has reviewed and agrees to these placement terms and the agency’s current fee schedule.
